12th Host the District Sleepover

Our Beavers (and others from the District) have had a very busy weekend. They took part in eight challenges set by Hampshire County Scouts for Chip’s Challenge badge. They made Beaver dams, Beaver masks and tried healthy foods with some Beavers trying something new for the first time. They took leaf and bark rubbings as well as making their own Beavers out of recycling materials. They enjoyed making grass heads and taking part in a tree identification activity. After dinner they had great fun playing glow in the dark games before taking a break with hot chocolate and cake. Next they had the job of setting up the tents and unpacking everything ready for bedtime. They had popcorn and and watched a movie before finally snuggling down for the night.

Every Beaver was amazing and they all should be proud of themselves.

A huge thank you to Charlie (Rowan), Steve (Hawkeye), Ann, Kirsty, Amanda and Nicki for everything they did to make this weekend possible.
