How can I get involved ?
Our group only functions as it does thanks to the wonderful volunteers that run it. That means leaders and team members for each of the 3 sections (Beavers, Cubs and Scouts), the Executive Committee (a group of parents and others who help raise funds and keep the premises going) and many parent helpers who chip in with help whenever they can.
We are always on the look out for more help in all the above ways and more. If you think you can help in some way or just want to find out about what the options are for this then take a look at the details below and then speak to one of the leaders or to Seán Boxall our Group Lead Volunteer or use the contact form on this website and they will be happy to explain.
Thinking of becoming a Volunteer ?
We already have Team Leaders in place (see the ‘Our Team’ page) but we still need extra team members for all 3 sections and you could help. Being a volunteer is a wonderfully rewarding experience and tremendous fun at the same time. It doesn’t matter how much or little experience you already have as training and guidance will be provided and we will support you all the way. All you have to do is to speak to one of the Leaders you already know (can be any section) or to Seán Boxall and we can have chat about what is involved and how you can help.
