Recently we have been making awards to some of our leadership team. Over the last couple of weeks I have had the pleasure of awarding 3 of our wonderful young leaders a special ‘Thank You’ award. Abi, Austin and Mikolaj all received awards. We use these to let our young leaders know just how much we value them and for their support of the group. Young leaders each attend one of the sections week in week out helping run the meetings and being great role models for the younger Scouts, Cubs and Beavers and I think it is important that we let them know how grateful we are. There will be more of these to come for those who have not yet received one.
I was also able to award Joe Pearson (Rusty) with his 10 year service award though due to the slowness of the award process in scouts I think he is actually already on his 12th year. Congratulations Joe and thank you for what you continue to give to the 12th.
