Don’t panic – they haven’t done anything wrong but they were lucky enough last week to have a visit by 2 of our local Police Force, Officer Ruby and Officer Luke who were kind enough to take time out of their busy schedules to spend a while speaking to the Beavers about what they do and answering some great questions from the Beavers, mostly about ‘robbers’ if I remember correctly. Officer Luke was a Beaver himself at the 12th back in the year 2000.
Next the Beavers went to have a look at the patrol car outside where they were deafened by the siren and tried on lots of different police helmets. Then, finally the Beavers said “thank you” and presented the officers with scout badges.
We are very grateful to our local Police for taking the time to do this.
