On Sunday, 19th April, the latest District Chief Scout’s Award ceremony took place, and 5 of our young people (including 3 who have moved on to Explorers) received their awards. The Chief Scout’s Awards are the highest awards that can be achieved in each section, and a great deal of work has to happen for them to be earned, so it’s a terrific achievement for each person to have reached this level.
Our congratulations go to all 5 young people. The 3 you can see in the photo are:
Arthur Preston – Bronze Award for Beavers
Jensen Montgomery – Gold Award for Scouts
Jake Maratos – Gold Award for Scouts
Additionally, Arlo Thompson (Gold Award for Scouts) and Orrin O’Hare (Bronze Award for Beavers) also achieved awards but were unfortunately unable to attend.
Really well done to all of you from the 12th leadership – we are proud of you all.
