Recently, we gathered for our annual Christmas Meal to celebrate all our incredible leaders, young leaders, and trustees. Our HQ looked wonderfully festive, and it was the perfect setting to say a huge “Thank You” for everything they do throughout the year.
The 12th simply wouldn’t be the same without the dedication of our volunteers. Our leaders give their time every week, and even during school holidays, they meet to plan exciting programmes for the term ahead. In our older sections, leaders regularly use their own holiday time to run unforgettable camps and events that create lasting memories for our young people.
Our young leaders also play a vital role, supporting weekly meetings and camps with enthusiasm and commitment. And behind the scenes, our trustees work hard to ensure that 12th Andover (West) runs safely and responsibly – from looking after the building and grounds to overseeing the charity’s finances.
We hope you’ll agree that they are a truly wonderful team. On behalf of all our young people, families, and the wider Scouting community, we want to extend our warmest thanks to every one of them.
