Introducing Our Leaders

Seán Boxall (Bagheera)

Seán is Group Lead Volunteer, Chairman, maintenance man, cleaner and grounds man and loves every minute of it (apart from cleaning the toilets).

Ruth Miller (Keeo)

Our Beaver Team Leader Ruth is originally from New Zealand and has been a leader in other Scout groups in the UK, so she brings plenty of experience.

Mel Hawkes (Tictac)

Mel has been with us for many years and is now one of our Beaver Section volunteers often helping out at Cubs too – she just can’t keep away.

Ben Paulley (Chil)

Our Cubs Team Leader Ben is very experienced and has been with us for many years.

Paul Webster (Shere Khan)

Paul is one of our Cub Section assistant leaders and can often be seen in shorts and trainers – Action Man we call him.

Craig Fisher (Kaa)

Craig has been part of the 12th for a while, on loan from another group but now he has joined us full time and we are very pleased about it.

Michael Burgess (King Louie) 

Michael has been a helper at Beavers and then Cubs for some time and has now joined us as a leader; he already had lots of experience at a group in Staines

Joe Pearson (Mowgli)

Joe has recently joined us from another Scout group in Wiltshire and we are very pleased to have him.

Benjamin Webster (Hathi) 

Benjamin started with the 12th as a Cub and has been through Scouts and Explorers. He has now joined us as a Cub leader. It’s great to have Hathi as part of the team.

Rob Steers (Rama)

Our Scouts Team Leader Rob has been with the 12th for many years and although he has recently celebrated his 50th birthday you’d never guess from his photo would you!

Stuart Baston (Skip) 

Stuart leads Scouts and has occasionally been known to shout.

Kerry Stringer (Kerry)

Kerry has been with the 12th as a Scout, Explorers, a Young Leader and has now joined us as a leader. It’s great to have Kerry as part of the Scouts team.

Maddie Day (Maddie)

Maddie has been at the 12th for many years as a Scout, a Young Leader and now a full Leader. We love it when one of our young people wants to stay with us and we know that Maddie will be a great addition to the team.

Dan Clubley (Kichi)

Dan joined us recently but has been in and around scouting for many years gaining a lot of experience and we are lucky to have him in the 12th.
